My 6 Essential Beauty Products
If you struggle with finding beauty products you love, this post is for you! I have eczema, acne, and am allergic to the most common makeup ingredient, “talc”. Finding products that I love is difficult and a long journey. I am happy to tell you that there is hope and amazing products out there for sensitive skin! Here are my 6 beauty products I can’t live without.
*Disclosure: I am not an expert in skincare or beauty products. These are the products I use that work for me and that I recommend.
IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer – You’ve probably heard me talk about IT Cosmetics before. That’s because I am obsessed with them! When I say their products are game-changers I mean it 1000%. This moisturizer isn’t greasy, leaves your skin feeling radiant, reduces redness, and makes your skin super soft.
Palmers Skin Therapy Face Oil – Jen Reed for The Sister’s Studio recommended this product on her Instagram page. I am so happy I tried it! It’s lightweight and non-greasy. It gives your skin a natural glow, reduces redness and acne scars. I put it on every night and then put a drop in my moisturizer every morning. It’s under $10 and all-natural ingredients.
Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion – This is the only lotion that helps clear up eczema on my legs and stomach. I have tried countless lotions and creams made for eczema but they never worked. This product is golden and super affordable!
Bare Escentuals Endless Summer Bronzer – Bareminerals products are hit or miss for me. I am not a fan of their foundations but I am a HUGE fan of this bronzer. A little goes a long way, it’s buildable, and weightless on the skin.
Beaky Beauty Blenders – I was hesitant to try these beauty blenders from Amazon because I have had terrible skin reactions to other more expensive beauty blenders. What do I love about these? One, they are kind to my skin. Two, it comes in a pack of 5 for the price of 1 at your local drugstore. I clean it every week and then at the end of the month throw it away and use the next one.
Lancome Monsieur Big Volume Mascara– I used to only use drugstore mascara until I received a sample of this at Ulta. I didn’t know mascara could make my lashes so beautiful, last all day, and never flake. It’s on the pricier side but worth every penny. A little goes a long way so it lasts for a while. I’ve compared it to “Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara” and Lancome wins hands down.
