👋🏼Hi! My name is Elaina.

I’ve been married to my husband Chris for 8 years. We have two pups, Penny, a golden retriever, and Stanley and Corgi.

I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for 12 years and am currently doing HR/admin for the same company. On top of my full-time job, I run an Etsy store called Heart 31 Designs and I am a travel agent.

Baking bread, gardening, and home renovation are my favorite hobbies.

If I could live anywhere, it would be in Italy.

I’ve been scuba diving and sky diving.

Last year I opened an online store called Heart 31

Last year I opened an online store called Heart 31 Designs. It’s a project that has been in my heart for years. My heart for the shop is to encourage and inspire women to feel confident and worthy of their purpose. To provide resources, community, and support for women to grow personally and professionally.

After months of being open, I stopped putting in the work. I was overwhelmed and unhappy with what I was producing. I knew that I had lost focus of the mission and was looking at what everyone else was doing. My mind would race with thoughts like…did I hear God wrong? Am I qualified? I can never be as successful as her. I chose to step away and reassess.

I learned that just because you do what God has called you to do, doesn’t mean you stop seeking him in the process. Heart 31 Designs will be moving to a new platform (it’s currently on Etsy) later this year and it will have a TON of resources and tools for you. The mission is the same but the heartbeat will be different. I’m excited to share this experience with you all!

Happy (late) New Year!

I may not have accomplished all my 2022 goals, I failed, cried, was disappointed, and was mad. But I was also happy, learned from my failures, educated myself, grew in many areas, and spent time with the ones I loved. I no longer care about the goals. I care about seeking God, growing as a person, and loving those around me.

I’m so proud of my growth and cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store… so here is a recap of my year in numbers.
1️⃣I traveled to 6 different states and was able to reconnect with friends and family.
2️⃣I opened my online shop, Heart 31 Designs.
3️⃣I learned about the importance of ingredients in beauty products, cleaners, and food. I’m slowly transitioning my home and diet and can already tell a difference. I can’t wait to feel the progress this year!
4️⃣After a couple of years of grief, Chris and I started to dream again and feel like ourselves. Our motivation is back and we can’t wait to see what God does.
5️⃣We planted our roots a little deeper in our small town by opening our home to players, making new friends, and helping other coaches and their families.
6️⃣I took a leap of faith and became a travel agent.

Who knows what 2023 will hold but I’m ready and going into it with an open heart and mind. Thanks for coming along with me. Who’s excited for this year?!
