Must-have Tools that Help You Crush Your Goals
Raise your hand if your New Year’s motivation is slowly stepping away and waving goodbye. School is back in session, work is in order, and we are tired! It’s normal for this to happen. Sometimes we need tools to help us stay on track and reach our goals. Below are my favorites tools to help you achieve your goals
Planners and Journals
Rachel Hollis Priority Planner – Guys, this priority planner is life-changing! I’m not a planner person. I normally write down my calendar at the beginning of the month and never look at it again. However, this planner has goal-setting pages, monthly, weekly, and daily pages. This helps me physically write down what I want to accomplish for the month, week, and day. Such a great way to set my day up with intention.
Food Sensitivity Journal – Food journals are a great way to help you stay on track and see your growth. I personally use the food sensitivity journal because I am in the process of an elimination diet. Every day I log my food, how I physically and mentally feel throughout the day, water intake, and bowel movements (sorry for TMI). Writing everything down makes me want to choose healthier food. Also, keeping track is a great way to see what foods make you feel groggy or sick.
Fitness Journal – Every Sunday, I sit down and write out my workouts for the week. I workout in the mornings but will tweak my workouts based on my schedule for the rest of the day. Doing this at the beginning of the week helps save time and I can mentally prepare for the workout going in. You can track reps, weight, milestones, and much more!
Gratitude Journal – Starting your day with a gratitude journal sets a positive mindset. Remind yourself what your blessings are.
Time Marker Water Bottle – This water bottle is so fun! It has motivation written on the sides telling you to keep chugging your water. It’s 32oz and leak-free.
Dry-erase Markers – Fun fact, you can write on your mirror with dry-erase markers. Write down a motivational quote, your goal, power word, or whatever will remind you to keep going!
Wake-up Light Alarm Clock– Do you struggle to wake up in the mornings? Constantly pressing snooze on your phone? This alarm clock gives you a sunrise effect. 30 minutes before your alarm is set to go off, a small light will turn on. It gradually gets brighter and then nature sounds to wake you up.
Mobile Alarm – Plan out your day and set alarms on your phone to go off when it’s time for you to do something.
